New Apartment for a Gyumri Widow and her Family

Gyumri resident Rima Petrosyan, a widow, and her four children lived in a squalid hut with a leaky roof. The family subsists on the equivalent of $169 a month. In 2015, Armenia Fund gave the Petrosyans the surprise of their lives when it presented them with the keys to a new apartment. The gift was made possible by a special Telethon held jointly by Armenia Fund and ARTN Shant TV of Los Angeles in 2014. The Petrosyans’ new home is a fully furnished apartment with all modern amenities including appliances.
