A Genocide Denied is A Genocide Repeated
As the first genocide of the 20th century, the Armenian Genocide was a precursor to the genocides that followed, acting as a prototype for modern crimes against humanity, including the genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Darfur, and the Jewish Holocaust.
The Armenian Genocide Museum of America (AGMA) will be the premier institution in the United States dedicated to educating American and international audiences about the Armenian Genocide. Visitors will learn about the ultimate failure of the international community to hold the perpetrators accountable for their crimes -- hence the vitally necessary purpose of a living institution dedicated to the quest for justice -- and why the story of the Armenians and all other peoples who have suffered similar fates must be told.
